There is almost always a way to clean up a high calorie, sugar-laden treat! If you want to have your cake and eat it too, try substituting some of those sugary ingredients like I did in these Chocolate Peanut Butter and Protein Cups! It was really quick to throw these 4 ingredients together and the results were beyond satisfying. Remember, this is still a treat, and if fat loss is you goal, moderation is the key!

Recipe: (Makes 12)

1 cup good quality dark chocolate, melted

1 tbsp coconut oil

Filling:

2 tbsp all natural crunchy peanut butter

2 tbsp vanilla protein powder -sweetened with stevia

In one bowl, melt together the chocolate and coconut oil, stirring until smooth (usually 1 minute in the microwave will do the trick). In another bowl, mix together the peanut butter and protein powder. Set out 12 little paper liners and fill the bottom half with 1/2 tsp melted chocolate. Top with 1/2 tsp peanut butter mixture, and then the remaining chocolate. Place in freezer until form. Store in freezer.
