Here is a quick, good for you, simple appetizer dip that is great for summer time. Introducing the Avocado Summer Dip. Obviously, the main ingredient is avocado. We threw in a couple of popular ingredients that go well with avocado and voila, we ended up with this delicious summery dip.
Fresh ingredients are always best. Summer time has so many delicious fruits and veggies in season which makes such a difference when putting together a dip like this. Fresh squeezed lime juice is important to adding great taste to this dish.
There are not a lot of ingredients in this dip, which makes it quick and easy. Simply chop up ingredients and mix together. Serve with almond crackers or fresh vegetables.
Avocado Summer Dip
Fresh avocado/tomato dip
Ingredients
- 2 medium ripe avocados peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup feta cheese crumbled
- 3/4 - 1 cup chopped grape or cherry tomatoes
- 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice (or half a small lime juiced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp kosher flake salt
- 1 tsp basil (fresh is even better)
- 1 mango chopped (optional for a different type of dip)
