Need a healthy, delicious, quick prep appy that everyone will actually love?  Well, you found it!  I have put this out to snack on or an appy for parties and it always disappears.  Simple ingredients and easy to make, this appy should become your new go-to!

With only 5 ingredients in this recipe, it will be quick to whip up in no time.  Start by chopping the mango and avocado in small pieces and put in a bowl.  Add the juice of one lime, chopped cilantro and salt and mix together.  So easy.  Serve with tortilla chips or oven roasted pita bread triangles.

Easy Avocado Mango Salsa

A creamy, juicy twist on a typical salsa!

Ingredients

  • 1 cubed avocado
  • 1 mango, chopped
  • 1 juiced lime
  • 1/3-1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp flaked kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Chop avocado and mango in small pieces. Place in a bowl.

  2. Chop cilantro and add to the bowl.

  3. Juice one lime and add juice to the bowl.

  4. Mix the four ingredients together and add salt. Mix again. Now taste it! Feel free to add a bit more lime juice and salt if you want a bit more bite in the flavor. This can be made ahead of time which actually allows the flavors to mix together more, but you can also serve it immediately after it is made.

  5. Serve with tortilla chips or baked pita triangles. This recipe makes about 2 cups of salsa.
