One of the best Mother’s Day gifts I ever received from Quentin was a compilation of all the things I love. Of course there was my favorite scent of bubble bath, dark sea salt chocolate from Purdy’s, maple walnut fudge from Rocky Mountain Chocolate, a Bath and Body Works candle and Conviction wine! Good thing that holiday is only once a year!
So for this Father’s Day, I was thinking of some of the things that he loves.
One of the things that brings him life and peace is working out. With a stressful job, working out has become his therapy. He’s going to the gym anyway, may as well look dope getting there!
Here are a bunch of great fitness finds for the fathers in your world:
I love this Fitlosophy Journal It is a 3 month goal setting and activity planning book. You can chart everything
Three Compartment Reusable Food Storage: This is perfect! For the dad who wants a tighter dad-bod, these storage containers allow you to prepare your food in advance and ensure that you have all of the components of a great balanced macronutrient meal! Microwave and dishwasher safe.
Fitbit: I actually received my fitbit for Mother’s Day a few years ago and I still use it. I have a number of clients who are committed to getting in their 10,000 steps a day. For the businessman who has a sedentary job, the Fitbit is a superb way to remind them it’s time to take the stairs!
Perfect Fitness Multi-Gym: This is great for the dad who likes to workout at home. We have one of these in a door frame in our house and it gets used a lot! Whenever anyone passes by it, they jump on and throw in a few pullups, or chinups. If it is visible and convenient, it’s going to get used a whole lot more!
SoundPEATS Wired Headphones: Quentin has gone through A LOT of headphones in the past 25 years of working out! They break, you lose them, your kids take them, you know how it goes! Having an extra pair on hand is always a good idea.
Under Armour Undeniable Duffle Bag: My husband and son have this bag, though not this fancy new version (possible next gift idea). A great bag, with room for those stinky gym shoes in any of the 3 exterior pockets.
Of course the best gift any father will ever receive are the words of thanks and gratitude for all that they do to enrich our lives. To my own pops and my husband: Your hard work and sacrifice does not go unnoticed. We love you and are better humans for having you in our lives.
