MEET JACKIE
Your story, your pain, and your collection of struggles are unique to you. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Together, we will spend time understanding what you are experiencing and why so that when you start making changes that will improve your life, it will be sustainable. We will collaborate tasks that you can practice between sessions and tools to learn healthy coping skills. My private clinical counselling practice has been alive for a little over 5 years now. I am a registered professional counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counselling Association and received, with honours a diploma in Applied Psychology and Counselling at the Kelowna College of Professional Counsellors. I have immersed myself in courses to expand my skills and techniques for my clients. Certifications such as grief and loss and anxiety treatment, including studies with internal family systems and Polyvagal Theory have given me a different perspective on coping skills, how to work with anxiety and depressive symptoms, being willing and able to look inward to self. You know you best, I am here to support you in gaining access to resources and techniques you may not have known about before.
